Location of Kanata

Kanata is a suburban neighborhood located in the western part of Ottawa, which is the capital city of Canada. It is situated about 22 kilometers (14 miles) west of Ottawa’s downtown core, and is bordered by the neighborhoods of Stittsville to the south, West Carleton to the north, and Nepean to the east.
